Butterfly Crest Management Committee

Estate Manager

a.       The DMC and BMO require Owners to form an Incorporated Owners Management Committee (IOMC) of between 2 and 8 persons to work with the Estate Manager to manage the Common Areas and Facilities. The IOMC meets approximately every 3 months. 

 b.   The Owners meet at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to:

  • Approve the previous year’s AGM Minutes
  • Approve the appointment of an Auditor of the Annual Accounts. 
  • Hear the reports of the Chairman and Treasurer and discuss the latest Annual Accounts  next year Budget, both of which will have been approved by the IOMC.
  • Approve any proposed change in the Monthly Management Fee or Capital Call.
  • Elect the members and officers of IOMC. The BMO allows new IOMC members to be elected bi-annually. However, it has become the usual practice for our Estate to elect members on an annual basis.


 b.       The accounting year for the Estate runs from 1st April to 31st March.  The IOMC endeavours to arrange the AGM in March or soon thereafter so that it an approve any change in Management Fee or Capital Call found necessary when preparing the budget.

 c.       All Owners are encouraged to attend the AGM and vote who should serve on the IOMC until the next AGM and the other matters requiring Owner’s approval.Type your paragraph here.
